About LOWEKCHO

Harman’s LOWEKCHO project offers a profound commentary on the intersection of technology, corporate power, and environmental destruction, all captured through an innovative blend of AI and digital painting. LOWEKCHO represents a once-majestic landscape—a vast expanse of forested mountains, deserts, rivers, and wildlife—that has been ravaged by the encroachment of large pharmaceutical and food conglomerates. These companies, with government collaboration, seized control of the area, expelling indigenous populations and turning the landscape into a heavily secured, secretive hub of bio-product development and research. Harman’s paintings offer a haunting glimpse into this dystopian world, where ghost towns are all that remain of a once-thriving region.

Through his painterly lens, Harman captures the eerie quietness of LOWEKCHO in a way that is both beautiful and unsettling. The few figures that appear are research fellows—outsiders granted access to what has now become a forgotten world
