Yugen is a collection that uses a two-layered visual approach to explore the complex relationship between immediate, tactile, emotional experiences and distanced, rational, logical perceptions that guide our decision-making.

In this context, the landscape plans represent the logical and detached decision-making side of a human, while the background scene that mimics natural elements like forests, meadows, and mountains encapsulates the sensory-rich, emotional ways of their actions.

It was made to examine the interplay between the background and foreground, akin to the distinct frequencies in a complex musical chord, thereby leaving the viewers to question whether their viewpoints are driven by rational logic (Heaven), emotional attachment (Earth), or a nuanced (in-between) combination of both.
