Pop Culture #2 NFT

Pop Culture #2 is the second collection series of hand-drawn illustration that incorporates few of the iconic pop culture characters that has the most recognizable helmets, with visuals of lowbrows aesthetics to add to the pop-surrealist approach.

Elvis Presley, Johnny Rotten, Morrissey, Gallagher brothers & Daft Punk, to name a few…they have all made the decision not to be limited by any physical, emotional & psychological restraints. You may think, “ah yes, they are special, that’s not me”

They all made the choice to move beyond their perceived limitations (hence the visual of dissected helmets). There’s a quote, “you are confined only by the walls you build yourself” & what exactly does it mean? My interpretation of this is in my collection of "Pop Culture #2" illustrations.

My drawings conveys the message that we are in charge of our own lives and the only limitations we have (helmets) that is holding us back from doing it, are self imposed.
