My mind, like everybody else’s, is constantly filled with thoughts. When I first learned about the idea of an ‘observer’ through the wisdom of many gurus, it ignited my curiosity and need to seek answers. I started questioning my self identity, and what it means to be human. Beyond being a daughter, a sister, a friend, a person, who am ‘I’?

Meditation, a big part of my life now, not only helped me return to me, I also realised that the observer has been within me this whole time. I could disconnect myself from thought and just be. I could fully embrace the present moment through breath. I learned that breath is happening by itself my entire life. I was asleep the whole time. This painting is a reminder to me to stay grounded in the now because it is the only moment that truly matters. I hope that this piece conveys the same message to everyone. What is your daily remin
