In the eternal struggle of Elephant Vs Lion there have been many hard battles fought. The Elephants thought they had permanently displaced the Lions during the Great War during which the Elegant Elephant Society was established. Sadly, with comfort comes complacency, and the Lions recently began their incursions again. This time the attack was more insidious. A trusted member of the Society showed the Lions to the gaps of the Elephant defenses. After a fierce battle, the Elegant Herd again displaced the Lions. However, in every battle there are casualties, these pixels pay tribute to our valiant fighters who perished in the struggle and the heroic leaders who remain to stand against the Lions.

This small commemorative collection was created by the amazingly talented artist Yamsdev, celebrating the triumph of coming together as a community in the face of abandonment by the project's former founder.
