“Coming Home” is a photo series about continuously returning to the home within ourselves. Every day I photographed this view from my apartment, and it was in the stillness of clicking the shutter-where I felt most connected to myself.

I shot these photos over the course of 6 years, and this collection is a tribute to the city I always knew to be home. It helped mold me into the person I wanted to become.

NYC is always moving, loud, crowded, and yet, we love it. Our life can be all of those things too. The skyline transforms just as we transform. Yet, despite what happens on the outside, our heartbeat and the heartbeat of the city — remains the same. We may loose ourself in relationships, work, or life’s chaos, but we continuously find our way back home to our core self.

This year I packed my bags to Los Angeles to start a new home. It is like introducing and returning to yourself at the same time.

I hope this collection allows you to reflect on your own life and idea of “home”.
