The name of the project comes from WWII, where soldiers took advantage of the invention of Plexiglas, putting photos of their loved ones or favorite pin up girls on the grip of their guns. This form of personalization earned the name of “Sweetheart Grips."
The collection is based on real hand painted poker cards, stains and backgrounds, in order to give it a tangible sense of analogue artwork to each holder. Aiming to evoke a sense of nostalgia about hand made artwork and the beauty of it.
