He went to bed, only to be awaken an hour later by a twilight earthquake. From his tent he saw a radiant glow take over the hill. He yelled to wake the others, but before anyone could hear him radioactive roots popped out of the ground and forcefully entered the nasal passages of his companions. Puncturing their brains and leaving them lifeless.
