Like smoke rings rising, the gentle interplay between colors on geometric forms is both surprising and delightful.

Programmed in the JavaScript language, primitivesRising is an animated presentation, coupling basic geometric forms with subtle colors. These combinations are sublimely simple, familiar and shown without pretense. With only elementary changes in form, color becomes the focus. Movement is stilted, as though the observers themselves are caught in some rough-hewn time-lapse. A square and circle are seen. The circle expands inside the square until another circle is born, its elder circle fades out completely, as if a vision in the fog.

primitivesRising comprises several sub-collections, each with unique color sets. This set, "CHLL", holds bright but delicate color combinations.
