A California based Persian-American artist Ali Bozorgmehr, whose Art is an amalgamation of Persian calligraphy and painting. Born and raised in Neyshabour, Bozorgmehr is one of Iran’s best-known living artists.
Bozorgmehr's name literally means large amount of Love and that is exactly what drives him. He lives the religion of Love and you see this in his Art pieces. With a distinctive and unique style called zibanegar, or lyrical painting, his pieces incorporate poetry of some of worlds best known poets such as Rumi, Hafez and Omar Khayyam and his own Poetry. He has named this unique style of Art as "Aligraphy".
