100 editions of a rock from Cardrona River, a river located in the South Island of New Zealand. The rock was collected from the river, 3D scanned and returned to where it was found.

Shannon Courtenay (b.1994) is a multidisciplinary artist in Aotearoa New Zealand working predominantly with ceramics. Graduating from Elam School of Fine Arts, Courtenay moved to Cardrona and the Cardrona River quickly became a central focus in her work. A river that was once full of life, now under threat of further pollution and a declining flow rate.

'100 Rocks from Cardrona River' is a project from the artist with the goal of raising awareness and encouraging action to save our rivers.

25% of each sale and 5% from royalties will be donated to Wai Wanaka, “for all life to thrive – healthy water is essential.”
